We learned that there are a ton of cons if a shipping container sinks, as it can be a very big danger to marine vessels. This is because, when shipping containers sink, they are only just below the surface if the ocean. Since they sink to only the surface, they can be very easy to hit. This is how we developed the In Water Suspension System (IWSS). The IWSS is designed to improve the buoyancy of sinking shipping containers. This method addresses the significant problem of water seeping through the cracks of Shipping Containers, then filling the container with ocean water and causing it to sink. By using a specialized material called AirFoam, we can seal areas where structural cracks and weaknesses are present.
